Here's some of the events we have been honored to be part of.

Annual Moose run to HONOR FALLEN FPD OFFICER JEFF MORITZ

The Annual Moose Run is an event that was created by Pat Martinez and his patrol squad to honor fallen Flagstaff Police Officer Jeff Moritz who died June 21st, 2000.  Martinez worked with Moritz and was a squad mate with Moritz at the time of his death and this event has been a true honor for the Association to be a part of.  2017 marked the 10th Annual Moose Run and with the help of the community, local businesses, family members, the Association and countless volunteers the event was a success raising money for FLEA to be able to donate back out to the community!  We'd like to express our sincere appreciation and thanks to Northland Beverage in Flagstaff as well as the Field House Restaurant who donated to our event!

ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET WITH FPD

Three years ago the Association with the help of FPD Administration created an event to honor the recipients for the Departments Annual Awards in a very formal venue.  The Association took the lead on this event with all of the planning, preparation, funding and decorations which has turned into an event employees look forward to every year.  Aside from the Awards presented to the recipients this is also a gathering for employees and families to get together and remember those who have been lost and are no longer with us as it falls on the same day of the Annual Moose Run.  The Association thanks and recognizes the FPD Administration for all of their continued support and help in this annual event.

21st FIESTA DE MAYO EVENT WITH THE SUNNYSIDE NEIGHBORHOD ASSOCIATION

This year marked the 21st Anniversary of the Fiesta De Mayo event put on by the hard work and dedication of the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association.  We were able to be a "Bronze" Sponsor at the event and held a vendor booth for the two days on N Fourth Street.  The event was a great time and our members were able to speak with the attendees and residents of Sunnyside outside of work and outside of uniform.  We look forward to our continued partnership and future events with the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association!
